Biography

A Partner in the M&A and Private Equity Group at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, Ilana is unique with respect to the breadth and depth of her experience structuring and negotiating bespoke transactions on behalf of both owners and operators of major brand name apparel, accessories, footwear, and beauty products. During her nearly two decades of experience, she has closed upwards of 35 cross border and domestic M&A and joint venture transactions in the retail and consumer space, including numerous joint ventures with some of the world’s most recognizable celebrities, in addition to hundreds of entertainment, fashion and beauty licensing deals. As a result, Ilana is seen as a trusted outside general counsel who is adept at both supporting her clients’ brand growth internationally and navigating the complexities of the matters most affecting the sector.
