Biography
Guadalupe is a tax partner at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo (Barcelona, Spain). She advises private clients, specially focusing cross-border matters. She has broad experience advising HNWI and UHNWI migrating to Spain or with interests in Spain. She helps them structuring their net worth and ensuring that their preexisting structures, such as trusts, private foundations, etc. are tax efficient and compliant in Spain. She also advises on tax residence complex matters and estate planning. She is a member of international organizations such as the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Private Client Global Elite and the International Bar Association (IBA), where she is a regular speaker and frequently involved in the planning boards. She is also the immediate past- president of the tax commission of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), with more than 4,000 members spread all over the world, where she has been actively involved for the past 11 years.
