The International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute (IBAHRI) brings together lawyers, judges, NGOs, civil society groups, academics and students to promote and protect human rights and the independence of the legal profession worldwide. Intern positions are available for undergraduate law students, postgraduate law students, and newly qualified lawyers at our London office. You will gain valuable legal research experience, directly supporting the implementation of IBAHRI rule of law projects. Find out more about IBAHRI internships.
Each year a number of legal practitioners, judges and academics get involved in IBAHRI projects, sharing their expertise and time with colleagues worldwide. Our network of legal experts participate in high-level fact-finding visits as mission rapporteurs, undertake international trial observations, and facilitate training sessions for judges and lawyers worldwide.
