Anna Morfey

Anna is a partner and solicitor-advocate, focusing on all aspects of contentious EU and UK competition law. Anna has over 15 years’ experience representing clients in a number of the highest-profile competition investigations and damages claims, including cartels such as Trucks, High Voltage Power Cables, Elevators and Escalators, Gas Insulated Switchgear and Marine Hoses; and in abuse of dominance cases against Microsoft and Google in the European courts. Prior to joining Hausfeld, Anna worked at two of the leading defence-side competition litigation firms in London and Brussels, working on contentious and non-contentious matters including several merger filings at EU and national level. She has also spent time on secondment to the OFT (now CMA) investigating suspected breaches of Chapter 1/Article 101, and on secondment to the competition team of a major Bank.

Leonor Cordovil

Ph.D. in Economic Law from University of São Paulo - USP and in International Law from Université Paris 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne. Master of International Law from Sorbonne. Bachelor and Masters of Economic Law from the Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG. Leonor advises clients in competition, anticorruption and international trade law. She has been recognized as a leading lawyer by Global Competition, Chambers, Legal 500 and national publications. In competition, she represents clients before Cade and Brazilian Courts. At Cade, she works in cartel/unilateral investigations and merger control.

Janet Hui

LL.B., University of Hong Kong, Second Chinese Law Degree, Tsing Hua University, Master of Business Administration, University of Hull, United Kingdom. Janet Hui is a partner at JunHe’s Hong Kong office and is based in Beijing. Janet primarily specializes in antitrust, cross-border M&A, foreign investment and general corporate matters. Janet has been recognized as a leading lawyer by Chambers Asia-Pacific in antitrust matters and regularly advises on complicated cross-border transactions with respect to transaction structuring, solutions and so on. Janet also frequently helps clients obtain antitrust approvals promptly and effectively.

Alexis Apostolidis

Alexis Apostolidis is a partner in the patent litigation practice of Adams & Adams and heads the competition law department of the firm. He is well versed in all aspects of patent law and specialises in opinion work and patent litigation in the life sciences, agrochemical, petrochemical, IT and consumer goods sectors. He has successfully litigated on behalf of originator pharmaceutical companies, OEM German car manufacturers, banks and television content providers. Alexis’ practice also extends to litigation concerning design registrations, the commercialisation and licensing of IP and regulatory matters in the life sciences sector. He advises and represents clients in litigious work in a number of African countries.

Alexis is also a leading expert on the interface between competition law and intellectual property in South Africa and Africa, having dealt with the competition law aspects of the enforceability of intellectual property rights to the Supreme Court of Appeals in South Africa. He has represented clients both before the South African Competition Commission and Competition Tribunal. His experience in various sectors and the dynamics thereof and his commercial law experience stand him in good stead in competition law related matters.

Logan Breed has handled many of the most cutting-edge antitrust reviews of mergers and acquisitions since 2002, as well as numerous non-merger conduct investigations and antitrust litigation matters. He has particular experience with issues at the intersection of antitrust and intellectual property law.

Logan's broad industry experience includes computer software and hardware, e-commerce, telecommunications, media and entertainment, consumer products, and defense. He also counsels clients on a wide variety of issues, including joint ventures and other strategic alliances between competitors, antitrust compliance, pricing, distribution, and distributor and dealer relations, and consumer protection matters.
