Dr Nicklas Berild Lundblad is a leading technology policy expert who has spent more than two decades at the intersection of artificial intelligence, technology, law and public policy. He is the co-founder of Pharos Research Group: a strategic foresight consultancy that helps organisations navigate technological change and uncertainty. He was previously the head of global policy at British American AI research laboratory Google DeepMind.

In this interview with Global Insight, he discusses the impact of agentic AI on societies and their legal systems and the effectiveness of different approaches to AI governance.
