The UK referendum on EU membership has brought the role of European institutions and human rights protections into sharp focus.

Discussing a range of related issues, including transnational cooperation, national sovereignty, appropriate regulation and the European Convention on Human Rights, are: José Manuel Barroso, Past President of the European Commission; Sir Nicolas Bratza, former President of the European Court of Human Rights; and José María Aznar, Past President of the Spanish Government.
