The global financial crisis and cultural change in the world of finance

This podcast assesses the widespread banking panic that nearly brought the global financial system to a halt in 2007-08, and the ongoing need to address unethical behaviour and excessive risk-taking in the financial industry today.

Examining the issues are: Christine Lagarde, managing director of the International Monetary Fund; Ben Bernanke, chairman of the Federal Reserve 2006-2014; and Chris Dodd, one of the architects of the US Dodd-Frank Act which introduced major changes to financial supervision.
