The IBA Rule of Law Educational Project is a Presidential Initiative launched in 2026 to introduce young people to the principles of the rule of law and encourage them to reflect on how those principles shape everyday life.

The pilot project was delivered in Denmark in collaboration with the Danish Bar Association, reaching more than 400 students across seven schools. Through one-day workshops led by lawyers from Living Human Rights on a pro bono basis, students explored key rule of law principles, discussed practical dilemmas and developed their own short video concepts.

Five student groups were selected to have their ideas professionally produced. Their videos, presented below, offer a creative perspective on what the rule of law means to the next generation.
