The future of global mobility in a post-Covid-19 world

The future of global mobility in a post-Covid-19 world

A webinar presented by the IBA Immigration and Nationality Law Committee

10 SEP 2020 1700 – 1800 BST

To say that Covid-19 has changed the way that business operates, either internationally or domestically, is an extraordinary understatement. The impact on immigration practice has similarly been dramatic. This webinar will consider how Covid-19 has affected the global movement of workers by addressing the following issues:

  • How immigration firms will operate in a post-Covid-19 environment?
  • Will there still be a transfer of workers?
  • Will immigration practices continue as before or evolve into a new digital mode of operation?
  • Will there be more nationalistic restrictions on the employment of foreign workers?
  • Will business diminish or increase?

Our webinar will delve into these topics and examine how immigration practices have survived in the face of Covid-19 and what the future will hold.
