‘Coronavirus is killing more men. But the lockdown is disastrous for women and their rights’ - this CNN article has sparked debate with some strong views being expressed.

We are living in unprecedented times, and while it's clear Coronavirus knows no borders, data suggests that the impact on some has been far greater than on others.

Join us as we examine the effects of Coronavirus on employees across the globe and consider whether there has been a disproportionate impact on certain employees more than others.

We will discuss this highly relevant topic from a diversity and equality perspective, with insightful contributions from colleagues across the world. Recent IBAHRI articles have explored the impact of the pandemic on women, black communities, migrants and people with disabilities, and we will consider workplace impact on these groups, and others, including the impact on younger people.
