An event jointly organised by the IBA Anti-Corruption Committee and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Brasil)

Please join the International Bar Association's Anti-Corruption Committee and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Brasil), when guest speakers will unpack and debate the recently published 2021 OECD Anti-Bribery Recommendation, aimed at combating foreign bribery from a Brazilian standpoint. Moreover, the speakers will provide insights about the accession discussion on Brazil's joining the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Key topics covered will include:

  • incentivising the importance of deterring and detecting corrupt conduct within enterprises;
  • developing an effective whistle-blower regime;
  • considering the appropriateness of non-trial resolutions to combat foreign bribery; and
  • addressing the demand-side of corruption.
