A symposium presented by the Arb40 Subcommittee of the IBA Arbitration Committee
As part of its contribution to the development of arbitration best practice, the IBA Arbitration Committee, through its Arb40 Subcommittee, organises symposia for the younger members of the arbitration community. This workshop will be interactive and follow an open forum format.
The upper age limit for participation is 40.
Topics include:
- Legitimacy in urgency: Reassessing the role and use of emergency arbitration
- The promise and pitfalls of progress: Specialised arbitration rules and arbitrations involving corruption allegations
Who should attend?
- Young practitioners under the age of 40 (whether in-house or in private practice) and students who are interested in international arbitration.
Visas
Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. It is recommended that you check your visa requirements with your local embassy or consulate. We are unable to provide visa invitation letters to support your visa application.
