A webinar presented by the ESG Subcommittee of the IBA Law Firm Management Committee, supported by the IBA Latin American Regional Forum, the IBA African Regional Forum, the IBA North American Regional Forum and the IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum
Today’s increasingly tumultous environment – from war in Ukraine and Gaza to the rise of global powers such China and India, and from the climate crisis to developments in AI – has led to a dramatic shift in the geopolitical landscape.
More than ever law firms have important, strategic decisions to make, on areas such as:
• taking a stand/making a statement on an issue;
• what actions to take/not to take as a firm;
• clients to represent or not to represent;
• stakeholder engagement;
• the expectations of talent/new recruits;
• politics versus business decisions; and
• transparency.
This webinar will offer timely discussion of the expectations and challenges for lawyers and their law firms/companies in terms of ESG, given today’s rapidly changing environment and world. The webinar will serve as a follow-up to the two previous instalments, which took place in 2024.
As we are limited to 1,000 registrants, we request that you please only register for this event if you will be attending.
