Consistently recognized as a leading practitioner in competition litigation, Paul’s practice covers collective proceedings before the Competition Appeal Tribunal, standalone and follow-on litigation in the English courts, appellate litigation, and appearing as an advocate before the EU General Court and Court of Justice. Paul also advises on all aspects of UK and EU competition law, including merger control, cartels, abuse of dominance, and digital markets regulation. Paul joined the firm in 2010 and became a partner in 2024.

Ms. Pastan has broad experience preparing complex, high stakes matters, including class actions and multi-district litigations, for trial. While she represents clients across a variety of areas, her practice focuses on antitrust. She has litigated both government and private antitrust actions, in administrative tribunals and federal courts. She was also a member of the trial team that represented the NFL in a class-action lawsuit by Sunday Ticket subscribers seeking $21 billion in damages. Following a jury trial, the district court granted judgment to the NFL as a matter of law on all claims. Ms. Pastan previously managed the trial team that defeated the FTC’s efforts to enjoin Microsoft’s $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard, clearing the path for the deal to close. Ms. Pastan maintains an active pro bono practice; she has represented clients in a variety of trial and post-conviction matters, including criminal and class action matters.
