Biography

Astrid Mignon Colombet joined August Debouzy as a partner in the Litigation and White-collar Crime and Arbitration department in 2019. She was previously a partner at Soulez Larivière, which she joined in 2004.

A recognized lawyer in white-collar crime, complex criminal litigation and crisis management, she has taken part in the defense of companies and executives in a large number of emblematic cases such as the Concorde crash, the Erika oil spill, the explosion of a chemical powerplant in Toulouse (AZF) and the Société Générale coordinated resolution. She handled a large number of international cases in highly specialized sectors.

Astrid defends companies and executives implicated in cases of corruption of foreign public officials, misuse of corporate assets, fraud, tax fraud laundering and manslaughter and involuntary injuries. She assists them on sensitive aspects of transnational defense such as the application of blocking statutes, double jeopardy and internal investigations issues, as well as on international regulations, industrial risk assessments and anti-corruption compliance programs.
