• Degree in Dutch law, specialisations in tax law and criminal law, from Utrecht University (1997-2002)
• Specialist course in criminal law (2009)
• Participant in Women Leadership Programme (2011)
• Held various roles at the Netherlands Bar Association (NOvA): member of the Bar Association of Zeeland-West-Brabant, member of the Board of Examiners (criminal law division), member of the Criminal Law Advisory Committee and Board member of the Breda Young Bar Association.
• Board member of the Club of 100 (financial backers) of the BH&BC Breda field hockey club
• Board member of the Dutch Tax Lawyers Association (NVAB)
• Elected Principal of the Year in 2017
