Javier De Cendra

Biography

Javier de Cendra is Dean of the Faculty of Legal and Business Sciences of the Francisco de Vitoria University. He has been Dean of IE University Law School for seven years. He has also been until July 2018 President of the Law Schools Global League and until January 2018 a member of the board of directors of the International Association of Law Schools. He has been a Senior Researcher and Professor (Honorary) at University College London, Member of the Malta Forum on Climate Change Adaptation, Member of the Scientific Committee of the Fondazione Scienza and Fede - STOQ, at the Pontifical Council for Culture, Vatican City , and member of the international advisory council of CEID Colombia.

Javier has published three books and numerous academic articles in journals such as the Yearbook of International Environmental Law, Environmental Law, Climate Law, Carbon Climate Law Review, and RECIEL. He is a member of the editorial board of the Carbon Climate Law Review and the European Journal of Consumer Law.
