Katrina Harry PSM
Biography
Katrina is the National Registrar and Chief Legal Counsel of the Veterans’ Review Board, responsible for managing the staff and functions of the Board across Australia. A lawyer, collaborative public service leader and change agent, Katrina has over 15 years’ senior leadership experience in tribunals. Katrina has successfully delivered strategic projects and operational transformation to establish a culture that improves tribunal performance to meet the aim of resolving disputes fairly, efficiently, quickly. Katrina led the development of the VRB’s transformative Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program which radically improved the VRB's resolution rates and time targets. Katrina was awarded a Public Service Medal for her work. Katrina has a strong interest in how justice systems can put the people who use them at their heart. Katrina is an Accredited Specialist in Government and Administrative Law. She is the current Treasurer for the Council of Australasian Tribunals (COAT) NSW; a member of the Government Solicitors Committee and the Licensing Committee of the Law Society of NSW.
