Karin Alvo is a Corporate and M&A partner at KLA with extensive experience in Technology & Telecommunication and Life Sciences industry groups. She is also well recognized in the Private Equity & Venture Capital industries.
Her practice has been constantly distinguished by prominent legal directories, as follows: In April 2023, she was awarded the best lawyer in Corporate M&A by The Legal 500. In May 2023, a deal in which she led a team of lawyers also won the Latin Lawyer Deal of the Year awards in the Private Equity category. In 2022, she and her team also won the Latin Lawyer Deal of the Year award in the "Mergers and Acquisitions private companies" category. Karin is also a frequent speaker on international events. During the IBA Annual Conference in 2022 in Miami, she spoke on the panel "Minority investments: trends and concepts to balance the interests".
