Rob obtained his Masters in Competition Law from King's College, University of London. Just a short 3 years after graduating from law school he established the Competition Law practice at BLG in 1986. With more than 30 years' experience in Competition or Anti-trust Law, Rob continues to act on the most significant criminal and civil matters under the Canadian Competition Act. Rob leads the most active criminal cartel practice in Canada, investigating and leading more than 30 cases with the help of his team of lawyers and forensic investigators. He advises and represents clients with respect to criminal matters such as conspiracy, bid-rigging, misleading advertising and price maintenance. Where civil matters are concerned, he has been involved in a number of complex and contested merger reviews, abuse of dominance matters and the largest anti-trust class actions in Canada.
