Biography

Robert is the Founder and Principal of WarwickPlace Legal, a consultancy exclusively focused on international strategy for law firms. WarwickPlace Legal has advised law firms in the UK, the US, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia-Pacific on cross-border expansion, including mergers and greenfield market entry and is actively engaged in law firm expansion projects around the globe. With more than three decades of legal practice experience as a cross-border M&A and disputes partner in major US and European law firms, Robert opened and managed offices for his law firms in London and throughout the emerging economies of Central and Eastern Europe and China, and led the expansion of his firms' international practices for many years, including fifteen years based in Prague and London. He is a graduate of Yale University (B.A., Russian and East European Studies) and the University of Texas School of Law. He is the immediate past Chair of the Senior Lawyers' Committee.
