Matthias Liermann

Biography

Matthias is Global Head of Product Management for liquid products in DWS Group since March 2013. In this capability he is responsible globally for all fund platforms in DWS with regards to lifecycle management, i.e. maintenance/closure/merger of existing fund range, launch of new funds, for the product governance and supervision process and the seed money governance process. In addition, he has the responsibility for the contract management for institutional funds and mandates. Matthias is the speaker of the management board of DWS International GmbH, a member of the management board of DWS Investment GmbH and a member of the supervisory board of DWS Investment S.A. Matthias is a German qualified lawyer and admitted to the bar in Frankfurt am Main. He received his PhD in Law from the University of Muenster in 2001.
