Biography

Francisco Javier García Pérez joined Uría Menéndez in 2011 and was appointed partner in January 2025. In 2015, he was seconded to the pharmaceutical company, Bayer, where he mainly focused on reviewing promotional material. He has extensive experience advising national and international pharmaceutical companies on commercial transactions, industrial property litigation, unfair competition issues, regulatory consultations, clinical trials and personal data protection. Javier also has a wealth of experience in new technologies applicable to the pharmaceutical industry, including online drug sales, healthtech solutions and artificial intelligence. He regularly contributes to and participates in national and international specialist pharmaceutical publications and forums.
