Biography

Daniel Garabedian specializes in tax law. He is a partner in the Brussels law firm of ARTEO and admitted to the Belgian Supreme Court Bar. He has a vast experience of advising on a wide area of tax issues, assisting clients in tax audits and tax ruling applications, and of litigating tax disputes before the various Courts. He is regularly asked to provide expert opinions on tax law issues. He teaches Corporate taxation at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), where he is the director of the Master in tax law. He has published a book and numerous articles on tax related topics and regularly gives conferences on tax topics in Belgium and abroad. He is a former member of the Permanent Scientific Committee of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and a former president of the Belgian IFA branch. He holds a law degree (1982) and a special degree in tax law (1983) of ULB, and a Master of Laws of the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, USA, 1985).
