Biography

Lucas joined Scaleway in January 2021 as a Public Affairs Specialist. He is in charge of structuring Scaleway’s advocacy activities towards French and especially EU institutions. While monitoring relevant regulatory and legislative developments impacting the company’s business, Lucas is also in charge of relaying Scaleway’s alternative voice and two-decade experience in the cloud sector, to help institutional stakeholders build a cloud that makes sense at European level. Lucas holds a Master’s degree in “European Politics and Public Affairs” from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Strasbourg. He spent the first years of his career between Paris and Brussels, and after an experience at the European Parliament and as a public sector consultant for PwC, he was Head of Eurospace’s Brussels office (the trade association of the European space manufacturing industry) for four years. Before becoming a Scaler, Lucas was a policy officer at ANSSI, the french cybersecurity agency, in the European and International Political Affairs Unit.
