Anna Kirkpatrick
Biography
Anna Kirkpatrick specialises in business and human rights, ESG risk, international law and international arbitration. She acts for corporates in litigation arising from human rights and environmental harms including as a result of climate change. She also advises corporates on the use of complaints mechanisms such as those offered by the OECD National Contact Points. Her ESG risk practice includes advising international organisations, state-owned entities and corporates on the implementation of soft law standards, such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and emerging ESG regulatory frameworks. She also acts in ESG related disputes and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Ranked as a Star Associate by Chambers and Partners, I have been described as "[a]mazing … a rising figure in this practice area…valued by clients, who underline [my] communication skills and 'adaptability in understanding the way the customers think".
