Biography

Devdas Baliga is General Counsel, Bayer Group, South Asia leading the law, patents and compliance function. His responsibilities include business partnering, dispute resolution, corporate governance, intellectual property/patents, business transactions, regulatory issues management, data privacy, cyber security and integrated compliance management. Over the course of his career, Devdas has worked in leadership roles at various organizations such as GlaxoSmithKline, The Coca-Cola Company and Procter & Gamble / Gillette India. Devdas holds Bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Law from the University of Delhi and a Post Graduate Diploma in EU Competition Law from King’s College, London. He is also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
