Biography
Ajmalul Hossain K.C. (England & Wales) Senior Advocate, Bangladesh International Arbitrator Ajmalul Hossain KC is Senior Partner of A Hossain and Associates and a founder Member of Selborne Chambers in London. He read law at King’s College, University of London and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn (awarded the Buchanan Prize). He has vast experience in the field of international arbitration and acts as arbitrator and mediator in multi-party actions, cross-border disputes, recovery of debt and security, commercial frauds, regulatory and fiduciary obligation, and commercial documents and financial contracts. He has acted as counsel in several arbitrations and mediations under institutional rules including SIAC, ICSID, ICC, LCIA and UNCITRAL. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London and sits on disciplinary panels and tribunals as well.
