Sarah Wared

Biography

Sarah Wared is a partner in the Corporate/M&A team based in Vienna. She specializes in cross-border transactions in the field of M&A, corporate. Sarah has expertise in a wide range of industry sectors including private equity and venture capital, financial institutions and TMT. Sarah has worked on numerous venture capital and private equity deals and is consistently recognized as a leading corporate/M&A lawyer in Austria. Before joining Wolf Theiss, she worked for other major law firms in Vienna and also gained international experience in the USA, Germany and Singapore. Sarah is admitted to the bar in both Austria and in Germany. Sarah is the author of various publications on selected issues of Austrian corporate law. In addition to an Austrian law degree (Dr. iur.), Sarah holds an LL.M. degree (with Distinction) from Düsseldorf Law School.
