Biography
Lawyer graduated from the State University of Rio de Janeiro in 1996. I began my career in the financial market in 1997 as a junior lawyer at Banco Modal (now controlled by XP), where I remained until 2003. That year, I joined the financial and capital markets team at BMA, one of Brazil’s leading transactional law firms. At BMA, I participated in one of the first three transactions that reopened the Brazilian capital markets in 2004, and later worked on numerous significant corporate deals in the country. In 2010, I was elected partner and stayed at BMA until August 2015. In September 2015, I began leading, alongside other partners, the Rio de Janeiro office of TozziniFreire Advogados, where I remained until March 2024, when the office closed its operations in the city. In April 2024, with over 25 years of a solid career, I decided to found FAC LAW, a boutique business law firm focused on providing personalized legal services to entrepreneurs and their companies in Brazil’s middle market segment. In May 2025, I joined Araújo e Policastro Advogados, a São Paulo-based firm with over 60 years of experience, whose profile is fully aligned with FAC LAW’s goals: personalized, individualized, and, above all, agile service.
