Biography

María Fernanda Mierez is a partner of Beccar Varela, having joined the firm in 1997. She is a member of the Pro Bono Committee and co-heads the Company Law Department. Fernanda focuses on company law and M&A. She has broad expertise in the design of start-up and entrepreneur businesses, and those using a Triple Bottom Line model. Fernanda obtained her Law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (1996). She is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association, the Pro Bono Committee of the Colegio de Abogados de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires and Board Member of Sistema B (B Corporations). She is the President of FAME (forum of Argentine women executives) and Officer of the IBA’s Business Human Rights Committee. She speaks Spanish and English.
