Biography

Brian Friedman is one of the most-recognised leaders in the Global Mobility profession. He is a 40+ year veteran of international HR and Global Mobility. Brian is the host of the hugely popular Linkedin Live show “The View from The Top” which broadcasts every Wednesday to the Global Mobility community. He is a Board Advisor and strategic investor to two of the most innovative technology companies in the Mobility industry, Benivo and AltoVita. Brian was also the founder of The Forum for Expatriate Management, the world’s premier networking association for Global Mobility and launched the internationally acclaimed EMMAs Awards for the mobility industry. Earlier in his career, Brian was a senior partner and Head of both EY’s and Arthur Andersen’s Human Capital practices. Brian triply qualified as a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Brian holds a Masters degree in Economics from St John’s College, Cambridge. Brian is the author of 4 books on HR topics including the #1 Bestseller “Delivering on the Promise: How to Attract, Retain and Motivate Human Capital"
