Biography
Lukáš Ševčík is the Managing Partner of Kinstellar’s Prague office and the Head of the firm’s Defence & Security sector. He has 30 years of experience in advising international clients on their investments and divestitures in Emerging Europe. Lukáš has advised strategic and financial investors across a variety of sectors on more than 500 M&A transactions, most of them cross-border, of sizes ranging from Venture Capital deals to multibillion EUR transactions.
He has vast experience in transaction execution, negotiation and structuring. This includes structuring of JVs, reorganisation of groups including cross-border mergers, demergers, carve-outs and restructurings in distressed situations. Lukáš has also significant experience in transaction structuring in the context of acquisition financing (both on straight bank debt as well as capital markets).
Lukáš graduated from the University of Heidelberg, is a German qualified lawyer and is also qualified as an European attorney to practice law in the Czech Republic (member of the German and Czech bars). He has worked in Germany and Canada and for the last 25 years in CEE, predominantly in the Czech Republic. He has for the last 9 years been Chairman of the Board of the British Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic and holds various advisory committee positions across the business and NGO sectors.
