Biography

Ulrich is a German lawyer admitted to the bar since more than 25 years. He has a 20 years’ experience in renewable energy projects and in any kind of transactional contracts in that respect as well as in related international litigation and arbitration as in-house counsel for Andritz Hydro. Ulrich heads the Andritz Group legal practice area for large projects in Hydro. He is chairman of the Contract Council of the German Business Association of Mechanical Engineering (VDMA) and he frequently works with different versions of FIDIC contracts, mostly heavily amended. He speaks about the usage of FIDIC Yellow Book contracts at national and international conferences.
