Biography

Daniel Flühmann is co-head of the Fintech practice group and a partner in Bär & Karrer's financial services department. His work focuses on banking, insurance and financial market laws as well as on the area of collective investment schemes. He advises Swiss and foreign banks and securities dealers as well as insurance companies and other financial services providers on regulatory and contract law matters and in the context of enforcement proceedings. A special focus of Daniel Flühmann's practice lies on advising clients in the area of Fintech as well as on blockchain technology and the legal framework of its applications in practice. Furthermore, he advises clients on general corporate and commercial matters as well as on M&A transactions.
