Biography

Angela joined us as a Partner in 2010, following many years as a partner in an international firm. Angela has been named as a leading lawyer in Banking and Finance for several years by Chambers Asia-Pacific, Chambers Global and Asialaw with clients describing her as "an experienced and business-savvy finance lawyer". Chambers Global has noted that sources declare that "she really is very, very good" and "very thorough and able to achieve the objectives we want." Angela has been named as a leading lawyer in Banking & Finance, Energy and Infrastructure as well as Project Finance by IFLR1000. She is also named as a Leading Lawyer in The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific, which has described her as a lawyer with "strong technical skills and practical approach to negotiation". Angela has also been consecutively recognised as a Leading Lawyer in The Best Lawyers for Banking & Finance and Finance Law, and included as a leading female practitioner in Women in Business Law Expert Guides for Banking & Finance. She is Singapore and English qualified and has experience acting for financial institutions (including commercial banks, private banks, investment banks and hedge funds) and borrowers (including corporates, private equity, funds and government-linked companies) in a wide range of cross-border banking and finance transactions, with particular expertise in acquisition leveraged financing, project financing, structured financing and real estate/construction financing transactions. She has led numerous transactions with cross- border aspects in the region, including Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong SAR, India, Malaysia, Korea and UAE.
