Biography

Adriana Prado is a Managing Director at and leads FTI's Strategic Communications team in Brazil. She has over 15 years of experience, having worked for some of the country's leading media outlets and communications firms. Adriana specializes in crisis communication, having helped dozens of companies prepare for and respond to critical situations, including corruption cases, parliamentary investigations, operational incidents and cyberattacks. She was a member of the Brazilian Association of Corporate Communications' (Aberje) Crisis and Compliance committees. Adriana frequently speaks on crisis management at specialized events and is a guest teacher at institutions such as the business school Insper and the think tank Data Privacy Brasil.​ Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Adriana was a Director at Brunswick Group, where she worked for nearly seven years, having participated in major crisis, M&A, litigation and profile-raising projects. Prior to that, Adriana also worked for some of the main Brazilian media outlets, such as the newspapers O Globo and Extra, the all-news radio station CBN and ISTOÉ magazine. In the corporate communications field, she was part of the social media team at FSB. She also contributed as a blogger to the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas at the University of Texas at Austin, USA.​ She holds a degree in Journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and a postgraduate degree in Communications, Marketing and IT from the FIA Business School in São Paulo.​
