Biography
Graduated cum laude in Law at the University ‘Luigi Bocconi’ of Milan, he is an Attorney at the Court of Milan and admitted to the Italian Supreme Court.
He is Founding & Managing Partner of Puccio Penalisti Associati, a boutique law firm specialized in white-collar crime, corporate investigations and compliance.
Over the years, he has acquired significant experience in the white-collar crime area, in which he carries out judicial and advisory activities in favour of national and international clients. He has, in fact, taken part in significant criminal proceedings as defence counsel for Italian and multinational companies, as well as individuals. He also holds the position of Chairman and is member of several Supervisory Bodies pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, both in Italy and abroad, of companies of strategic importance.
In both 2024 and 2025, he was included in the Chambers and Partners – Europe Guide ranking, under the White-Collar Crime category. Since 2024, he has been listed in the Lexology Index - Thought Leaders: GIR (Global Investigations Review), in the Business Crime Defence – Corporates category. In 2025, he was also acknowledged as a “Thought Leader” in the Lexology Index - Business Crime Defence. He is also included in both the Lexology Index – Asset Recovery and the Lexology Index – Italy under the categories Business Crime Defence & Investigations.
Andrea and the Firm are renowned for their professionalism and expertise and have received numerous awards in the fields of corporate, financial and environmental criminal law, as well as in compliance and internal investigations.
He has been appointed as an Officer in the Criminal Law Committee of the IBA and is a member of the ABA (Criminal Law Section) and of the ECBA. In the Bocconi Alumni Community, he is a member of the Legal Topic as contact person in the field of Criminal Law.
