Biography

Since 2005 defence lawyer in the fields of white-collar crime and criminal tax law. From 2012 partner of the boutique law firm Kipper Durth Schott in Frankfurt and Darmstadt. Stefanie Schott is vice chair of the Criminal Law Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) and represents the German Federal Bar in the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) and the European Bar Association (ECBA). She has been appointed as an expert to the European Committee of the German Federal Bar (BRAK) as well as to the Criminal Procedure Law Committee. She authored the commentary on tax evasion in the well known German publication Heidelberger Kommentar zum Steuerstrafrecht. She regularly contributes to various law journals. She is specialist advisor to the journal Praxis Steuerstrafrecht (PStR) . Stefanie Schott speaks German, English, Spanish and French. Legal clerkship with placements in major law firms in Frankfurt and Cape Town as well as at the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer. Studied law at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz specialising in tax law; studies abroad in Paris and Barcelona.
