Biography

Jeremy Agnew is a Managing Director and Deputy Head of the Alternatives Legal team of BlackRock based in New York. He was previously Head of Funds Legal, EMEA for BlackRock in London. Prior to joining BlackRock, Jeremy was an Associate in the Asset Management team of Matheson in Ireland and before that, in the Corporate team of Gilbert + Tobin in Sydney. Jeremy graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Law and a B Asian Studies from the Australian National University. He has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Financial Services Institute of Australia and is currently completing an Executive LL.M in Securities and Financial Regulation at Georgetown University. Jeremy is admitted as a lawyer in New York, England and Wales and New South Wales (non-practising).
