Biography

Ben O’Bryan, Managing Director, joined Neuberger Berman in 2021 as the Head of Product Strategy & Development for EMEA and APAC where he is responsible for the firm's fund offering for EMEA, APAC and LATAM. Prior to joining NB, Ben was the Global Head of Fund Solutions & Origination in Goldman Sachs’ Global Markets Division where he was responsible for the development, launch and management of a range of onshore and offshore vehicles, including UCITS, AIFs and Cayman funds across a broad range of asset classes and strategies. He also led the structuring of complex fund solutions for clients. Prior to his time at Goldman Sachs, he was responsible for hedge fund UCITS at Deutsche Bank. Ben qualified as a lawyer in 2001 and specialised in structured products at Allen & Overy and then in-house at Merrill Lynch before moving into a structuring role, where he focused on structured products and funds, as well as tax and financing trades. Ben received a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Southampton.
