Biography

Patricia Dunne, Director, Markets Supervision Directorate, Central Bank of Ireland Patricia is the Director of Securities and Markets Supervision and is responsible for overseeing the supervision of investment funds, trading venues and various securities market facing mandates. Prior to this appointment, Patricia was Head of Markets Supervision where she had responsibility for the supervision and surveillance of financial markets, including the development of integrated data analytics and risk analysis supervision. She has held a number of regulatory and supervisory roles in the Central Bank of Ireland in the asset management, investment funds and banking sectors, and through her work with ESMA has contributed to the formulation of European regulatory policy and legislation for asset management and investment funds.
