Biography

Nadine von Büren-Maier is a partner at MLL and a member of the firm's Corporate/M&A and IP practice groups. She advises clients on the setting up and exploitation of their business activities in Switzerland. In particular, she leads M&A projects which often include IP and Tech rich assets, assists the client in the setting up of legal entities and sales points, assists the clients in drafting any commercial and corporate documents, advises on product regulation and applicable regulatory provisions, as well as corporate governance. She finally assists the client's interests in commercial litigation and has a broad knowledge of employment and social security law. Furthermore, Nadine advises clients on the protection and exploitation of their intellectual property. She is in charge of the management of several trademark and design portfolios and assists the clients in drafting IP related contracts such as assignments, license and franchise agreements, manufacture and distribution agreements, research and development agreements. She also represents the rights holder before the competent authorities and courts. She has an in depth experience in the following industries: retail, fashion, food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and life science, hospitality, production and industrial sites, interior design, luxury goods, family offices, sports and art. Nadine is member of the board of directors of several companies.
