Gerald Miersch

Biography

Gerald Miersch works in the Directorate-General for Competition of the European Commission. He is currently Head of Unit in the Cartels Directorate. Previously, since he joined the European Commission in 1999, he worked in anti-trust (media and services) and merger units. He studied law in Hamburg, Geneva and Cambridge. He wrote several articles on EU competition law.
