Astrid Mignon-Colombet
Biography
As a member of the Paris Bar since 2003, with a PhD in Law from the Panthéon-Sorbonne University and as an active member of the International Bar Association (IBA), Astrid Mignon Colombet is a highly regarded lawyer specializing in white-collar crime defense and internal investigations. Formerly a partner at the boutique criminal law firm Soulez Larivière, Astrid joined August Debouzy in 2020. With over two decades of experience, Astrid has been involved in landmark cases of economic and political criminal defense, including the Concorde crash, the Erika oil spill, the AZF factory explosion, the Penelope Fillon appeal trial, as well as transnational negotiated justice agreements (CJIP). She also advises clients on high-stakes matters such as crisis management, internal investigations, negotiation of settlements with enforcement authorities (notably the French National Financial Prosecutor’s Office), and developing and implementing innovative compliance and governance strategies. Recognized for her expertise, Astrid is a highly regarded lecturer at Sciences Po Paris, where she teaches economic criminal law. She actively contributes to academia by regularly publishing articles in leading French and European law journals and contributing to think tanks such as the Club des Juristes. Astrid has been individually ranked and recognized in the categories “White-Collar Crime” and “Corporate Compliance & Investigations” by the prestigious and leading independent professional legal research firms Chambers and Partners France 2025 and Legal 500 EMEA 2025.
