Corey Whiting
Biography
Corey is the Executive Counsel and Head of Litigation at Kuok Group Singapore, a Singapore-based multi-national conglomerate with investments and operations in the maritime, real estate, and digital infrastructure industries. In that role, he manages disputes from across the Group’s businesses, including the first ever Investor-State arbitration brought by a Singapore investor. He also handles the legal aspects of internal investigations and compliance and regulatory matters. In addition to his role as Executive Counsel, he serves in the Group Sustainability Office, which coordinates the Group’s sustainability efforts, with a particular focus on policy development and sustainability reporting. Prior to joining Kuok Group Singapore, Corey was an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton, based in New York and Hong Kong, where his practice focused on international commercial arbitration, investment treaty arbitration and complex litigation.
