Biography

Lia is head of Investment Banking Services for EMEA and a partner in the Financial and Strategic Investors Group (FSIG) within Investment Banking, where she manages the firm’s relationships with a number of private equity and related portfolio company clients in EMEA. She is a member of the Global Banking & Markets Inclusion and Diversity Committee and is co-head of the EMEA Veterans Network. Prior to her current role in FSIG, Lia worked in Leveraged Finance, focusing on debt financing, including leveraged buyouts, corporate transactions and structured financings for natural resources companies across EMEA, and prior to that, she worked in the Natural Resources Group and Investment Banking Legal. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2005 as an analyst in New York and was named managing director in 2015 and partner in 2022. Lia is on the Board of Trustees for United World Schools and was formerly a Trustee for Womankind Worldwide.
