Speaker information

Katherine Ayre

Biography

Katherine Ayre loves to fly, but that's only part of the reason she became a pilot, then a municipal & aviation lawyer, and then a global legal consultant and speaker. She sees the potential of aviation to connect underserviced and remote communities, deliver essential items with lifesaving speed, integrate all modes of transportation, and achieve carbon neutral targets. Kate is the first lawyer in North America to merge municipal and aviation law into a single practice to focus on the Advanced Air Mobility Market (AAM). In 2022 she founded CAYRES Inc., a community-focused legal project management operations Company. At its core, a key to safe and sustainable AAM community integration is Canadian guidance from the ground up.
