Biography

Maria Gonzalez Cuervo joined Uría Menéndez in 2019 and she is senior associate of the firm since 2022. Maria has over 6 years of experience advising domestic and foreign entities and investment funds on Spanish direct and indirect tax matters as well as on the planning and implementation of M&A and corporate restructuring transactions. She also has experience in the taxation of financial transactions and the issuance of equity and debt instruments. In addition, she regularly advises on tax audits and tax litigation matters. She frequently advises private clients on the taxation of the reorganization of their family businesses.
