Biography

I set foot outside my home country of Poland at the age of 19 to start an LL.B. programme in European Law at Maastricht University. Over the years I have worked and studied in four different states: the UK, Germany, Poland and the Netherlands. I am the person who seizes all opportunities in life believing that one only regrets the things he has not done. My professional interests centre on taxation. I am passionate about interactions between domestic and international dimensions of the discipline and the influence it exerts on business operations. To excel my skills in this subject, I completed an LL.M. in taxation at the LSE and later on, worked for 5 years at EY Poland in international tax services up to the role of a Tax Manager. Currently, I explore the business side of profession as a Tax Manager at TJX Europe specializing in corporate income tax matters (i.a. WHT, MDR, APA, tax settlements). In my free time I like travelling, skiing, fitness and dancing bachata.
